3drivers took part in the first workshop of the FundiRoaD project dedicated to the sustainability and decarbonisation of the Foundry sector, with a presentation on the current situation and projections for 2050, in terms of production and demand, energy consumption, and decarbonisation strategies.
The FundiRoaD project is promoted by the Portuguese Foundry Association and aims to accelerate the sector’s transition towards carbon neutrality by 2050.
