3drivers attended the “Applying circular economy principles in the construction sector” event, promoted by the General Secretariat for the Environment, as part of the EEAGrants Environment Program.

At this session, 3drivers had the opportunity to present the results of the CircularEcoBIM project, a digital platform that helps calculate the environmental impacts of construction materials.

There was also room to discuss the importance of the circular economy in construction and the contributions of Portuguese projects to the sector’s evolution.

Circular EcoBIM is the result of a consortium between 3drivers, the Center for Innovation, Technology and Policy Research and CERIS Civil Engineering Research and Innovation for Sustainability at Instituto Superior Técnico, CentralBIM, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and VIC Properties.
