The Be.Neutral agenda, funded by the PRR, is accelerating the transition toward sustainable mobility by developing new micromobility vehicles and service-based mobility models.
Within this initiative, two complementary development paths were established. The first led to the creation of the BEN (2025), a four‑wheel lightweight electric vehicle developed by CEiiA // Centre of Engineering and Product Development, which serves as the baseline mobility platform of the agenda. In parallel, Simoldes Plastics advanced the BEN NewGEN configuration, in which a set of innovative next‑generation lightweight components were integrated with the objective of improving the sustainability of the vehicle.
Within this project, 3drivers is conducting a full Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to quantify the environmental performance of both vehicle configurations, enabling a transparent comparison between the baseline solution and the NewGEN innovations. Among these developments, one of the highlighted components is Simoldes Eco Wishbone, whose main features and environmental benefits are illustrated below.
