On August 8th, 3drivers’ team, together with CEiiA // Centre of Engineering and Product Development’s team, visited MICE – Molds and Injected Components Engineering, one of the factories that will produce parts for BEN, the electric vehicle being developed as part of the Be.Neutral project. During this visit it was possible to learn about the production process of some of the elements that will be part of the vehicle.
The Be.Neutral agenda aims to accelerate the development and industrialisation of a new generation of zero carbon mobility products and services. It envisages the creation of four mobility products (two four-wheeled vehicles, a bus and an e-bike) and their respective value chains, which will be developed, industrialised and operated from Portugal, with a focus on the global market.
3drivers’ role is to develop an assessment of the vehicle’s sustainability, using tools such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), supporting the process of designing and developing this vehicle.
