The EcoEconomy 4.0 project focused on producing and disseminating knowledge about the circular economy, decarbonization and the energy transition, seeking to encourage SMEs to adopt innovative and more sustainable practices, supporting their qualification and identifying opportunities for a more efficient and effective use of material and energy resources, but also for the use of innovative digital technologies in Industry 4.0.

With regard to the circular economy, 3drivers was responsible for:

• Developing a self-diagnostic tool to assess the degree of adoption of circular practices, pointing to areas of intervention where the company can implement innovative solutions to improve its performance.
• Create toolkits and action guides to support SMEs in drawing up their own individual roadmaps, including the identification of good circular practices and real examples intended to inspire national SMEs
• Organize awareness-raising and information workshops for SMEs, promoting the opportunity to establish synergies between companies.

Promoted by the Portuguese Business Association, the EcoEconomy 4.0 project was co-financed by COMPETE2020 through Portugal2020 and the European Regional Development Fund.
