The aim of the project was to define the strategy and establish the management model to be adopted for coffee capsules. It involved analyzing the systems adopted in leading European countries, including legal and regulatory aspects, as well as technological and market aspects. This basis was used to develop proposals for the management model to be adopted in Portugal, and different alternatives were comparatively analyzed from an operational, economic and governance perspective.
Strategic objectives and the most appropriate management model configuration were defined to meet the sector’s needs.
